Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and creative Marketing Officer to support our brand development, communications, and customer engagement in Arua. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing our visibility, generating leads, and supporting sales growth through digital and traditional marketing channels.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across multiple platforms (digital and print).Create engaging content for social media, newsletters, and company websites.Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis.Organize promotional events, product demonstrations, and trade shows.Support sales teams with marketing materials and customer engagement strategies.Track and report performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools.Maintain and update CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot) with campaign data and lead information.Coordinate with external service providers (graphic designers, printers, media outlets) when necessary.Ensure brand consistency across all communications and touchpoints.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • At least three (3) years of relevant experience in a marketing or communications role.

  • Strong command of English is required. Familiarity with local languages spoken in Arua is an asset.

  • Proficiency in digital tools including social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, X), Canva, Mailchimp, or similar design and marketing tools.

  • Knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot, and Google Analytics is highly desirable.

  • Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Creative, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
